This beautiful book has been written by Janet Summer Johnson and has been illustrated by Courtney Dawson. The book has very recently been published in 2020 and falls under the bedtime story genre. The book has already received 4.3 out of 5 from Goodreads and 4.8 out of 5 from Barnes & Noble.

This book depicts a story about Shailey who loves bedtime stories with her father. But, her dad starts a new job or work, and the bedtime stories become irregular for Shailey. This behavior is not liked by Shailey so she thinks of taking immediate action against her father.

She wants someone to replace the position of her dad, and meanwhile posts the ‘Help Wanted’ sign, and starts interviews immediately. She interviews all the fairy tale characters from her storybook for the role of her father. So we see some of the classic characters coming up such as Snow White, Jack and the Beanstalk, Sleeping Beauty, and many others.

The Cat in the Hat

The Cat in the Hat is quite a famous children’s book that has been written by Theodor Geisel. This American author wrote and illustrated the book by using the pen name Dr. Seuss. The children’s book was originally published way back in 1957 and falls under the “Children’s Literature” genre.
